Partly inspired by Jamie Livingston's 18-year project, I'm going to take a photo every day for a year. Or attempt to at least. This will hopefully not only give me a small goal each day, but maybe make me seek out new things in my surroundings and/or improve my photographing ability. (Additionally, I may or may not include some bad puns.)
You've hit on a (slightly) interesting linguistic point here. Normally in English the 'ly' morpheme signifies an adverb, as in this instance where it is added to the adjective 'soft'. However, your previous photo is labelled 'prickly' which is actually an adjective, with 'ly' added to 'prick', which I guess could be a verb or noun...
ReplyDeleteNice photo by the way.
